Impact Xtra Book Discussion: "A Year of Living Kindly"

Now that it is finally 2021, we at Impact are eager to embrace living more purposefully and meaningfully. As philanthropists, we have always aimed to make transformational change to our community and we explored what that looks like with our first book discussion about Moment of Lift by Melinda Gates. Now we are thinking, let’s explore what transformational change could look like in our own lives. We have chosen A Year of Living Kindly, by Donna Cameron, for our next book discussion. In this book, Ms. Cameron will share her personal experiences and challenge us to pay more attention and make choices that will take us out of our comfort zone, benefit others in a meaningful way and, in turn, pay enormous dividends in our own lives. It feels like the right book for right now. We can begin this journey together with a lively discussion and perhaps a pledge for 2021.
